The old well inside testifies, among other things, that the former parish church Saint Peter and Paul had been built on a Roman fort. The architecture is characterized by stylistic elements from different eras. The frescoed ceilings, restored a few years ago, are impressive. The windows have been madeby Echternach artist Franz Gillen and reflect the changing light of the day. The crypt which was restored during the 60’s can only be visited on guided tours.
